What he is saying is true.. some of the newer markets for metro to open up there all aws only the ones that have been on for years... ex. sanfransico, flordia. are still running the old setup and the new one side by side. I had bought a samsung r450 from them before i got my TP flashed and the samsung was running on aws and the only way i knew was the prl.. i think metro loads 3 diff prl's onto phones the regular one(for older phones)... evdo(even tho its only been confirmed that detroit is the only ones that have it) one and aws ones. So ya if your area just got metropcs 9/10 its on the aws band.
