I haven't personally tried it yet, but have used vinyl in heated situations and it handles being buffed on, so you might give it a shot. I'm talking about the stuff that they use to put lettering on big trucks. You can find it at places like autozone and stuff like that. Not sure how the that or the pinstriping will work, since you are literally boiling it.

I would suggest that before you apply the vinyl, you wiped down the cover with some alcohol to make sure that there isn't anything on it. You will want to lay out your design before hand, once you stick it down, repositioning it is a pain.

Hopefully by the end of the coming week, I will have something to show for this.
