i asked @ precentral about a few features you mentioned and various members said that web downloading can be enabled (looks like a hack but cant confirm cuz i dont have a pre) and they need to create a file manager/organizer now that they gots the SDK so email attachments can be saved so they can be properly stored. Notifications can be changed as well with pimpmysounds i think (dunno if thats how but they said that it can be done) You are right about the app store though....
im still waiting for mine but my contract is up in sept and i only get 150 upgrade credit so it still knocks me back 400 buckaroos unless i can find a better deal elsewhere unless the Hero rears its face at sprint like mentioned
