Thanks for the compliments! Actually, the task bar is transparent (not completely) so blends with anything. It's native, not a program running in the background for transparency. I just finished doing Windows Update and updating my nVidia drivers, changed my background on restart, so took another screenshot.
We just finished repairs to our walkway beside the house, and we all stuck our hands in it and wrote our names. More pictures on my blog, in my signature.
