less than 512 MB of ram? that would mean at most 384MB... I am suprised you were even able to get windows xp on that :P, I would at least upgrade the ram, you could probably beg on the street for 10 seconds and someone would just give you a 256- 512MB stick of ram to throw in there from their old and decaying computer :)
