i know it's time consuming but have you flashed back to stock and installed the arcsoft cab?
i'm running the arcsoft cab on my mogul, stock TP and custom ROM TP. You may have to flash back to stock, and run an updated profile and get a data connection then flash back. I know its not what you want to hear, but it might help. and as mentioned above, do you have a data plan?
