i didn't think QuickGPS worked in that way. My understanding is that it's merely a table of GPS locations that will make GPS lock faster. I wouldn't think it would have anything to do with his GPS not working at all.
i'm thinking that he may not have loaded the provisioning cab.
i loaded the sprint cab and didn't load the quickgps cab.i didn't get any response from the gps. when i installed the quickgps cab everything worked.
