I think its possible to do through the registry, although not sure what that registry string is.. and that be a difficult one to find I think... unless someones already figured that out, your best bet is to use and app like gyrator which allows u to have more hands on control over your g-sensor and what apps and functions are enable and disabled to auto rotate...

you also be able to use diamond tweeka or adv config tool... not sure but maybe... i cant recall if there are gsensor setting contained in either of those programs...
