it sounds like you didnt take the battery out for a minute and hard reset after the flash.... i have no freezing issues (not even one) no lag, or anytihng.... as for the signal that deals with the radio and will also effect your battery life and make you heat up.... you have the oldest sprint if not mistaking... look in the rom section and stickied is a radio comppilation i would recommend flashing over to the newest sprint one personally. def reflash and follow the steps and add a new radio to see what that does for you
