see that's the thing that i don't understand, but I think it has to do with cultural differences, I'll explain. In peru just like in any country, live people from other countries, let say brasil, argentina, colombia, ecuador. When there's a soccer game between my country and these other countries, people gather to support their national teams in bars or restaurants, and here's how things are over there: Just because they live in Peru it doesn't mean they're supposed to support Peru, no matter how the country's been good to them, if they make a lot of money o things like that. If i was to ask let say a Brazilian residing in Peru how come he's not cheering for Peru, the answer I'd get be: "are you f#$@ retarded or something?" lol seriously it'd be actually embarrasing/stupid to ask such a question(that's how it actually feels overthere). No one, absolutely no one would find a Brasilian living in Peru, to be wrong about supporting his national team, that actually feels pretty damn right for him to do, but that's how we see and feel it overthere, al least in S. America.
Yea i think u should always go for ur country i will always go for mexico when playing against USA ,but ill always go for USA if they were to play against other countries like i said i go for both since i do live here shoot i even go for brazil or columbia sometimes lol its just like any other sports guys .
