how did you set the email account up? was it through activesync on tour phone? the stock email client? sevenmail? i would go through the settings and make sure that they are correct.... if you dont know what they settings have to be set to just ask and we can let you know what they are supposed to be at.
im useing the stock email client on the pro that comes on nfsfan's rom, and for what i can see all the settings in the email account are right, and the connection settings are correct, but for some reason it will not connect, keep getting the bubble, i even deleted the account and recreated it, but same thing.
