i was messing around in the kitchens from here and there.....one of them i used recently had a working flash....ill look and see which one. maybe it will help you as well?

I have gone through so many roms in the last week looking for a Cricket rom...or a kitchen that i can cook Cricket WM6.5 with working wap, mms, text...
I have narrowed it down to SSK kitchen 2.6 kitchen, juicy 7 kitchen, or grooveROM_5_TP_Edition__060709.
Im leaning towards the groove and ssk...as they were the most recent of my trials for cricket.

Okay, after a fast reflash...and ill be flashing back to your rom soon.... i found the working camera flash in the SSK 2.3.2 X2 Edition - Pro Kitchen. I really hope this fixes whats wrong, or at least helps to it.

man, i am so sorry.....i was prepping a flash from the ssk kitchen...im goin on 40hrs no sleep...
Its definately the Groove Rom 5 tp edition...i just soft reset and made sure that was the splash screen...

Okay so this is the last post for me today! i guess im just a flashin fool!!! I have installed the black dragon rom. its camera works fine too. not a problem with its flash. i dont know if i liike it as well as your rom here. but another route to victory i hope!
