by just installing the baseamap you get nothing on the display but your car icon. there are no maps loaded yet. you have to load maps to the sd card. if you have unlocked the whole usa maps on your pc, you should be albe highlight the maps you want then transfer them to the sd card. teh link save will eventually give you the whole usa unocked. i'm running it right now w/o any issues.

Anyone else phone say the same thing?
go into teh garmin folder on your sd card adn delete the sw.unl file and run garmin again. select the 4th option, connect to a gps device, cancel teh search for the gps, goto tools/settings/downarrow to about/ select about and you will see your card id.
