Default Alltel TP issues

I've searched and couldn't find anything that really helped and searched through pages..but anyways I seem to have a issue i couldn't find.

First off, I'm using stock everything Alltel TP.

About 2 weeks ago I started having issues receiving my emails. So, to get them, I have to create a new account at which time it will download all the new ones and next time it tries to connect it gives me a error, like tmail.exe error or something. (I delete the old account)

Since about the same time the phone has been acting sort of erratic. When I hit the power putton to turn the screen off its now taking like 3-5 seconds to shut it off. The screen response is f'd too, like I hit the screen to scroll down a web page and it won't catch til the bottom but if i wait a second before starting to scroll it might work fine if I time it right, or it will open the popup options. The scroll issue only seems to happen in opera, and the screen response issue is much more common in opera also.

A few days ago we did a hard reset on it, and it worked GREAT for like 24 or maybe 36 hours and now its the same way again. The only thing I have installed is google maps and skyfire, prior to the hard reset the only other thing I had on the phone was PDAnet.(besides a butt-load of texts since last December when I got the phone).

Another weird thing that happens occasionally is I'll just pick up my phone after its been sitting there for a few hours(not on a charger or plugged into anything) and it will be hot as hell for no reason.

I've been contemplating trying to turn it in on manufacturers warranty, but i'd rather not if it's something stupid.

Dash, haven't seen you at Best Buy since the Palm Pre release. Been hoping you'd come in and fix my phone :)

Sorry again if this is somewhere posted, I couldn't find it.
