Default Re: How to Dye Your Touch Pro Battery Cover

DASH!! I used Navy Blue and I got damn Purple!!!!! The purple pic was what happened when i put the cover in for about 1min. I pulled it out to see how it was coming out and the damn thing was purple. I freaked out and ran it under cold water and rubbed it with a paper towel. Thats why it looks funky in the pic. So I got a question. How much Navy blue poweder do you use to get blue? are you supposed to use just a dash of powder?
Anyway, I took the black powder I had and dyed it again. So now I have two black covers.

The Cover on my phone in the pic bellow was the purple one. The other black cover was some crapy one the Sprint Store gave me. Which reminds me. I asked sprint if I can buy some battery covers and shes like no we have no way to order them. What the hell? Its a part to a phone. HOw can Sprint not order a part to a phone? They had one cover laying around. But how do I get more?

Oh yeah and some of you asked for more success stories before you did yours. I have not exp any rubbing off of the dye. The phone is even in my sweaty pockets at the gym as a mp3 player. And the dye is still not comming off. if You plan on dying it a lighter color like blue though. Try starting off with just a little bit of powder
