I've got an alltel tp, i've unlocked it and performed all the steps here and for some reason when i use garmin it'll find 3-7 sats but take FOREVER to say 3d location and be usable. i would try a custom rom to tell the truth..... custom roms should give you a quicker lock as well as in most cases for satelite locks..... will also make your phone run better, different options, apps, versions of touchflo, better battery life, etc..... just some food for thought.
