Usually,
Samsung rolls out a new monthly security update to its flagship smartphones, such as the
Galaxy S24 series devices, before the 10th of the month. Unfortunately, that isnt the case this month, most likely because the company was busy with the
Galaxy Unpacked event. Well, almost a week after the usual release date, Samsung has started rolling out the
July 2024 security patch to the Galaxy S24 series smartphones.
The July 2024 security patch
fixes 58 security issues. Samsung has released the latest security update to the carrier-unlocked models of the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra for the United States, which carry model numbers SM-S921U1, SM-S926U1, and SM-S928U1. The software update changes their firmware version to
S921U1UES3AXFC,
S926U1UES3AXFC, and
S928U1UES3AXFC respectively.

Samsung should release the July 2024 security patch to the remaining variants of these smartphones, such as the carrier-locked, international, and European models in the next few days. Simultaneously, the company will roll it out to other devices. To get the update, go to
Settings » Software update » Download and install. If not, you can download the new firmware from
our database and install it manually.
