Rss Feed Blackmagic Camera app now works on newer Galaxy Z Fold, Flip phones

A few months ago, Blackmagic Design launched the Blackmagic Camera application for Android. It allows you to record videos with a ton of advanced options. Unfortunately, the app wasn’t compatible with many devices. Among those were Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Z Flip 5. Well, not anymore.

Blackmagic has released an update to the Blackmagic Camera app for Android. It changes the app’s version to 1.3 and makes it compatible with the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Z Flip 5. It also brings a ton of new recording features. You can check out the complete official changelog in the image below.

Note that the Blackmagic Camera app for Android is only for recording videos and not for capturing images. If you want to capture images with advanced options, you can check out Samsung’s Expert RAW app. It is available for Galaxy S20 and newer models. It offers many advanced features, including the Astrophotography mode.
