Alongside the Galaxy A54, the Galaxy A53 is also getting the latest security update in Europe. The
September 2024 security update is rolling out to the phone in several European countries, less than a week after a similar update rolled out in the USA.
The update sports the build number
A536BXXSBEXH3 and you can download it over the air from the phone's

Like the Galaxy A54, the Galaxy A53 is
not receiving any changes other than security enhancements with the latest update. However, while the previous update gave Galaxy A54 owners a taste of Galaxy AI with the Circle to Search feature, that wasn't the case for Galaxy A53 owners, which disappointed many users.
Whether or not Samsung will bring any AI functionality to the A53 with Android 15 and One UI 7.0 is unclear. Even the Galaxy A55 doesn't get anything but
the Circle to Search feature, so the chances of these mid-range devices getting a more comprehensive Galaxy AI experience with any future Android or One UI update are slim.
