Uh oh, it seems Samsung fans are in for a long wait for the next version of One UI. Samsung announced at its ongoing developer conference that the stable version of One UI 7 will arrive next year with the Galaxy S25 series.
That's right. While One UI 7 will be
available in beta for developers and users this year, the finished update will not be ready until 2025.
While Samsung didn't lay out the reason for why One UI 7, which will be based on Android 15, is not coming this year, it probably has to do with the fact that One UI 7 will bring a major UI refresh. Samsung's plans to
brand all its software as One UI probably have something to do with it as well.
