Samsung released the
November 2024 software update to the Galaxy S21 series*
last week, and following a few days of limited availability, that update is getting a wider rollout. Some Asian countries have started receiving the update this week, and more countries—in Asia and other regions—should join the party over the coming days.
The November update for the
Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra was first released in the USA and brought only security fixes. But that's not the case for the update that's rolling out in other countries.
The newer version of the update—sporting the build number
G99xBXXUEGXJE—also packs stability improvements, similar to the November update
for newer flagships like the
Galaxy S24 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, though Samsung hasn't detailed those improvements in the changelog.
As always, you can try downloading the latest update directly on your phone using a Wi-Fi or mobile data connection from its*
Settings » Software update*menu. Alternatively, you can download the full firmware
from our archive and install it on the phone using a Windows PC and a USB cable.
