  • Streaming service Max will start clamping down on password sharing next week, an executive said.
  • The executive added that there would be “gentle messaging” at first before a firm crackdown later in 2025.
  • Max would be joining rival streaming platforms in barring the password-sharing practice.

Disney Plus, Netflix, and Hulu have all recently clamped down on password sharing. We already heard that Max was going to follow this trend, and the company has now revealed more details.
