Rss Feed Samsung has picked more efficient RAM for the Galaxy S25 series

Samsung used LPDDR5 RAM for the Galaxy S23 series and then upgraded to LPDDR5X for the S24 models. This year’s flagships will stick with LPDDR5X chips, though ETNews reports that the company picked ones made on a smaller node. The Galaxy S24 series reportedly uses 13nm RAM chips made by Samsung. Today’s report suggests that the Galaxy S25 series will switch to 12nm chips – and that Samsung has switched to Micron for the initial order.
