The wait for Samsung's first extended reality headset ended this week with the launch of
the Galaxy XR. Samsung has already started selling the headset in the United States and South Korea, with no information regarding availability in other markets.
Samsung has equipped the headset with many interesting features, and while it briefly touched on some of them during the launch livestream, it has now posted a detailed video that provides an overview of these features.

The guided demo video covers the basics on how to get a good fit when wearing the headset and navigating through the user interface. It dives deeper into many of the headset's AI features, particularly the passthrough and AI features, through which users can use Circle to Search to learn more about what they're looking at through the headset.
The various entertainment features are also explained in detail as well as the productivity features which enable users to work across multiple virtual screens. An in-depth look is also provided at the various apps available for the Galaxy XR right now and how they further enhance the capabilities of the headset.
Samsung has also released some other videos covering
the AI experiences, tutorials on
how to use the basic functions of the headset, and more, to help familiarize people with this brand new product as the company begins carving out a niche for itself in the extended reality segment.
Customers in the United States and South Korea can buy the Galaxy XR headset right away. It costs $1,799 while
the controllers are an extra $250.
