In September, Samsung
opened the One UI 8 Watch beta program for the
Galaxy Watch 6 and the
Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. The same month, the brand released the
second beta version of the software to the two smartwatches. Now, the company is rolling out One UI 8 Watch Beta 3 to both wearables.
Currently, Samsung is offering the update in its home country, South Korea. The update carries firmware version
ZYJ5, as you can see in the screenshot below (via
@Alfaturk16). The brand should release it in the USA, the only other country where the beta program is available, in the next few days.
The new firmware brings two major improvements. First, it fixes the issue where audio recording was not working properly. Second, it fixes the bug where the media controller was not working properly.
If you have enrolled your Galaxy Watch 6 in the One UI 8 Watch beta program, you can get the latest update by opening the Galaxy Wearables app, and going to
Watch settings > Watch software update > Download and install.
