[HELP] Upgraded ROM to 61 getting shortcut target error

I just upgraded my ROM to WM 6.1 from HTC. Now I canot sync to my PC. I get this error " Error opening the shortcut or locating the target filename" I am sure the answer is simple but I would really love some help.

Are you flashing a stock rom or custom rom ? :40: If it is a custom rom make sure the NBH.file is in the RUU

so you cant connect.... i want you to do this.... hold the power and camera buttons while soft resetting your mogul, than you will come to a rainbow screen where it will say serial. plug your usb in and wait to hear the sound from your computer like it is going to sync. than look at your screen and where it said serial should now say usb.... run the exe file from sprint for the official rom and than you should be good to go bro.... let me know how this works out for you...... and be sure to hit the rep if this worked :>

Thanks for the reply Dash, I am really out of my element here. I am not sure what to file to run from the official ROM. I ran the ROM upgrade from HTC it did not give me any seperate files.

you dont need the files. do this step by step.

1. drag the rom from sprint onto your desktop.
2. hold the power and the camera buttons down while soft resetting
3. connect to activesync or mobile device center
4. wait for the screen to change from serial to usb
5. double click the exe rom file you got from sprint
6. follow the steps on the screen
7. dont unplug until after the device soft resets.
8. ENJOY!
