asynckiller killed my phone

i have starrom 2.0 and swcked mobile shell on phone. i downloaded activesync fix cab. when i reset phone i got the message 'poutlook' is not a valid pocket pc app' ever since my phone has no signal and i can't get swcked to come up. i'm at the today screen with swcked home @ bottom right but if i press it nothing happens. i tried to delete the active sync cab. tried to reinstall swcked shell and soft reset many times. if i press contacts (bottom left) i get the same message. my phone doesn't work. plz help

well then you have to do is a hard reset.Keep in mind doing a hard reset will delete everything from your phone.And return to stock

i was hoping to get around that:( how do i hard reset again. is it top botton, down volume, and bottom soft reset? and that brings me back to starrom original settings correct? thanks for the quick reply!

i have a touch pro and am running star 2.0 and mobile shell also, i havent had problems with active sync at all so i havent downloaded the fix and i have had no problems with the rom at all....

If ur performing a hard reset dont forget to back up any neccesary things..u probably already know but still wanted to throw it out there.lol

eis your phone completly non functional?... if not, u can try running sktools, and doing a DEEP SCAN on asynckiller and uninstall that way... then power cycle (pull battery and wait a few) and restart it, see if that get it going... but yeah chances r u may have to do hard reset.... still its worth a shot if u want to avoid it....

ok good.since you mentioned that you tried to uninstall it.And that's why i gave you the option to reset the phone to default settings.
