[NEWS] Galaxy A02s, A12, and Chinese Z Fold 2 will stop getting updates

Samsung launches the most number of mobile devices of any manufacturer, even though it has dialed down its yearly output considerably over the last few years. Samsung also supports the most number of devices with regular software updates.

More than 130 Galaxy smartphones and tablets get new updates monthly, quarterly, and biannually depending on how much they cost and how old they are, and they all stop getting updates after a few years. And starting this month, Samsung will stop releasing software updates for three devices.

Samsung has ended support for the Galaxy A02s, Galaxy A12, and the W21 5G. The W21 5G is the Chinese variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 2.
