Default HTC Daimond Network Issues (Tutorial)

Ok i ran into a situation with the diamond with the internet didn't connect at all.And i was surprise i was one, from a few hundred of diamond owners with the same issue.

And apparently Tech support couldn't fix the issue and they were just replacing the phones. But one of the mini service center young butt head thinking they new the issue and still couldn't fix it, so i would have to travel a distance to another service center that knew my situation. But i decided to research and i found the fix.

In order to fix the internet issue you will have to do a master reset on your phone! Keep in mind doing the reset will erase everything that you have on in your phone.

1.Master Reset- in your phone pad enter this ##786# , It will take you to "Reverse Logistic Support"

In the lower right corner you will see a menu button, hit that and it will direct you to a reset and cancel, hit the reset following by another stage to enter the unlock code.

To obtain an unlock code call the sprint or any carrier representative and they will give it to you.Enter the 6 digit code and follow the command. The phone will reboot on it own. When it reboot you will have to follow it like if you have installed another rom.

From there go to start >> setting>> and click on updated prl. Reboot your phone again then go back to start >>setting>> and then click on Update profile.

You will run into a problem about the unlock code each DEC # a unlock code is issue for the phone,If you run into that problem there is a simple fix you need to go to your registry and edited couple of hex.

“ Quote ”

* Change the following registry entries in:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\ATDbgLog
Enable: 1
LogMode: 1
* Wait a reasonable amount of time and soft-reset (I have noticed that it seems to take longer for this value to take affect, so if you reboot and the registry values are not changed, then you need to do it again and wait longer)
* Check to see that the file \Temp\ATDbg0.txt has been created.
* Return the values back to what they were (most likely 0) waiting the same amount of time as above.
* Look in the ATDbg0.txt file and you should see a log of commands sent to the CDMA radio and there should be something like this somewhere in the file:

11:9:3 Tx:AT+HTC_RMSL=0\r
11:9:3 Rx:+HTC_RMSL: 354201\r\n0\r
11:9:3 Tx:AT+HTC_ROTKSL=0\r
11:9:3 Rx:+HTC_ROTKSL: 216112\r\n0\r

* The numbers next to the Rx: +HTC_RMSL line should be your MSL... I do not know what the ROTKSL is for, but included it in the snippet incase someone knows. 826202
The unlock code will be in this line: 11:9:3 Rx:+HTC_RMSL: 354201\r\n0\r The bold letter will be the unlock code.

don't be scammed about getting your unlock code from other web site i think they go for 30 dollars doing it this way is freeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep in mind it'll take about 10 to 15 mins so it will process through the network...I will try my best to assist you if you run into a block...

DISCLAIMER: Wckediden will not be responsible to whatever happens to your phone. This is only for educational purpose only and a small solution.

Thanks to "rain freak" from ppcgeeks.. for coming out with this solution and fixing my phone.

I actually found a better fix.... simpler then thaT....... go to ##DATA#................ enter your unlock code..... then change your active profile (first field) from a 0 (zero) to a 1 (one)...... then save and reset... DONE!
