Thanks to milominderbinde for puttin this together... i take no credit for this... original thread can be found here

Code

 http://forums.precentral.net/hardwar...ricks-pdf.html
New Highlights:
* Now with nearly 200 Tips, Tricks, and Hidden Features in five pages
* How to send a text to multiple recipients
* Missing Basic Features
* Protecting your Pre
* How to see what software releases you have, memory available, real signal strength in dbm, etc.
* How to cut out a section of an mp3 to make the perfect ringtone.

There are literally hundreds of threads on the PreCentral Forums with tips and tricks to help you get the most from your Palm Pre. But how do you sort through it all?

Bookmark this thread in your Pre for a constantly updated listing. Download the PDF file below for graphics, links and diagrams on your PC.

Some Highlights from the attached Palm Pre Tips and Trick PDF Version 1.0:
* 101 Tips & Tricks are summarized in this first draft.
* The Tips & Tricks are sorted into categories so that they are easier to find.
* Many are from the 344-page user guide that is not included with the Pre.
* Graphics are included to show which buttons to use.
* The Palm diagrams are included to show where everything is.

Please share any tips you have. We are trying to leave anything that could lockup the phone or cause serious problems to the developer forums.

Thank you to everyone who has posted. Because multiple users have posted the same tips and often in other forums as well, no individual credit is given for each tip. So the credits are given to the entire PreCentral Forums. Hope that is OK.

Again thank you to everyone for your hard work. You have done all of this in less than two weeks! It is hard to keep up!

- Craig

►Undo - You can't undo a mistake in the Pre. On your PC Undo is [Crtl] - [Z], on a Treo press [Menu] - [Z]. When enabled, Undo should be "Press the Gesture Area x and C at the same time." There is no work-around.

►Lyrics - On iPhone or iPod, tap the album graphic for lyrics. Pre Lyrics aren't enabled. There is no work-around.

Internet
►PDF's - Can't open or save a pdf. One workaround is to 1) Open the website on your PC. 2) Save the pdf. 3) Email the pdf to your Pre. 4) Open the pre email. 5) Open the pdf. Don't forget to bring your PC.
►Flash - Pre can't view Abode Flash graphics. There is no work-around.
