ARTICLE: Text messaging outages plague HTC Hero?
 Billed as one of the best Android devices to date, it appears that the HTC Hero may be experiencing a few text messaging issues. Reported by several on the Sprint Community forums, the troubles range from occasional text messaging problems to not being able to receive any at all. Users have reset the devices, exchanged, removed applications, and come up with various solutions, only to have the issue return after a certain period of time. Some seem to be pinpointing the issue to task manager applications. The text messaging bug seems to be affecting both the US and the UK, so it doesn't appear to be a Sprint-specific issue.
