Default Closing Programs on the Touch

I have a problem with my touch "sticking" sometimes....

If i finish a phone call and end... and then close it out and go back to the home screen... and even if i open the running applications (upper right corner ) and hit the red X on all the open apps...

in the upper left by the Windows icon it still says PHONE (or contacts or whatever i was running) and i'm unable to pull up the touchFlo cube....

the only fix i have found is turning it off and back on... or waiting -

any ideas?

There could be thousands of reasons why your touch is running slow. Sounds like you close out your unused apps, which is good, but there could be a conflicting application (Check out the sticky {red} conflicting list), could be too many programs running before you close them out, could be too many temp files running. I would advise using a program like PPC Mechanic (that could be a wrong name) or SKTools to clean everything up. It will get rid of broken/unused files and clean up the device to free up as much space as possible. If that doesnt work, sync your contacts and start over by doing a hard reset. (You can also sync your apps that you know do not conflict, then hard reset to save time)

Hope this helps.

One program is all it takes....I found a cool keyboard (i forgot the name) where each key had two letters and when you click it you just move your finger right or left. It was awesome in theory but it locked my device tighter than GI Joes kung fu grip. At the time it was the only app I had. Needless to say, I killed it and all is well ---even running about 12 apps now.
