My mogul ringer is not workin

I just got my phone back from getting it fully modded by dash and it was working when i got it and when i call sprint to have the phone transferd over, the ringer and sound stop working. It works when u soft reset it but as soon as someone calls me the ringer stops working. I call sprint and told them what happen and they try to fix it but had no luck doing it. They told me to take it to a sprint tech so that he can fix the ringer problem, but i was advised by dash that sprint would not touch it cause of the upgrades on the phone. but i need my phone to ring cause i missed alot of call because of it. So i want to know what to do before i hard reset it and have the tech look at it, i really dont want to lose all the upgrades doing that. so someone please help me or tell me how to fix the problem.

still looking into this for you bro and even after a hard reset you cannot bring it in because you are running 6.1 which is a custom unreleased rom so they cantr touch it..... but you can always try to do a hard reset and see if it all works when you are done.

so it will still be running the wm 6.1 and Rev a? and if not what all programs will i need to get back.

yup hard reset bring back to fresh but keeps the last flashed rom on the phone.... you will need to reinstall and set up all the cabs on the storage card of the phone....... i can guide you through this if you need the help if you decide to go that route. also moved this from news to the help desk 6800 section.

just out of curiosity what 6.1 build is it? i had similar issues with older builds.

wow shocking....I never had that issue on 55...i had it on 53 and 51...hmmm out of curiosity are they mp4 ringtones?

try running his before you hard reset...

yeah but the weird part ewas that it worked until he activated it than it went haywire.

could be hes trying to use mp4 ringtones as well.some reported issues on this to no2chem....i posted a fix above.....I personally didn't have this issue..but others said it was coding that was messed...so maybe that cab can fix it...can't hurt to try..

goo call forgot bout that hopefully that works and if not make sure they arent mp4 or wav file ringtones since i know them dont work on the mogul...

na mp4 should work..most films are encoded that way.

huh must have had the problem than when i was running no2chems in the past.

I just rest the phone and the sound works until somone call the phone and im not using nothing but the default ringtones. My camera say unable to capture photo. unable to get the frame data from the camera device. so the ringer and everything work until i get a call then it goes silent.

what type of reset did you do???? hard or soft.

a soft cause has soon has i hard reset it ill going to lose ever app on the phone and i just have to pay for all the app to get put back on there so i hopin someone will figure it out before i have to do that.

all the apps are on your memory card just would need to install and set all up again.

I have the same problem (so do 2 friends do mine). Ever since I upgraded my phone, my camera won't work. Also, when I have an incoming call, the speaker mutes itself. If I know about 2 people that have the exact same problem, I'm sure that there are other phones that are having the same problem.

Has anyone found a fix to either of these problems. PLEASE HELP A GUY OUT...!

look I had the same problem with my phone I add a 6.1 rom and my camera stop working and everytime someone calls me my phone would just stop making sound all together, I went to the sprint store that fixs my phone and they said it had something mess my audio board up and the just replace it with the total repair plan.

whats up everybody well i was having the smae problem with my phone but i fixed it. this what i did and maybe it will help yall. i downloaded one of the lastest build 5066 and i reflashed it alover agian. whenn it finish booting my cam work my phone was ringing like a big dog and i did a lil dance. so maybe this will help yall too
