Default [SOLVED] Help with Sprint Nav

I've done a search and also gone through the internal GPS FAQ on my issue and I still cant seem to be able to get my gps to read. Actually I take that back, it reads completely fine on google maps, but Sprint Nav can't find it no matter what I do.

I'm set to everything exactly like the FAQ says. I've also downloaded astrogps launcher and GpsViewer. I also sat on hold with sprint for an hour while they passed me around and left me on hold for 10-15 minutes a person. Then suddenly the phone went completely silent while he was trying to process my number and they were gone. It was surprisingly around closing time.

Anyhow, rant over, Any ideas?

GPS signal weak or there is no signal. Check my settings. Did and done. Google maps works great with the gps portion I just want turn by turn and also I'm paying for gps. It doesn't make sense that google maps would be working and Sprint Nav isn't but I don't know what to say.

Oh yeah I am running 3.35. I've also tried it inside and out. No clue man. I get no trial error or anything like that. It verifies my account everytime I fire it up.

Hrmm, no. All I did was let the Rom run and install. When it was finished I did what it told me to but I don't anything about a customization. I think I've seen around the way people doing another install of their Rom and it helped. This wouldn't be my number one option obviously but if its my only hope.

yeah you could try a hard reset with the same results but not needing the flash... i would ty to either hard reset or reflash in case it hicupped and all during install..... sorry all i got for you bro wish i could figure it out but im stumped and is an error somewhere with the sofware, rom, or on sprints side.

If you didn't know this already I'm sort of a noob. Could you clarify what reflashing is?

Edit: I think I got it, thanks Dash

So I just wanted everyone to know that I did a hard reset on my phone and got it sprint nav to work. I'm pretty pumped about this. Thanks Dash!

Anyhow, one question I do have is do I need to reinstall 3.35 after a hard reset or should the rom be the same version even after a hard reset? I didn't think it would be but it says its 3.35 in the device info.

Alright so I have a problem. I used sprite back up to restore everything and now I definitely am getting no gps signal anymore. Im thinking this is some sort of software issue at this point. Here is my list.

1. Games = Bubble Breaker, ClickBall, Crimson Fields, Age of Empires, Realms, SimCity 2000, Solitaire

2. HTC Photo Album

3. Slide To Unlock

4. Dope Wars

5. Flash Light

6. Google Maps

7. HTC Home Customizer

8. Palringo

9. Pocket Mechanic

10. Point UI Home

11. Sprite Back Up

12. Telenav

13. Yahoo! 2 go

14. Winzip

Anything look to be conflicting? I could also go with another hard reset and then install each program one by one until I find the conflict.... but if anyone knows anything about this before I do all that it would be a big help. Thanks.

How long have you waited for it to catch a signal before you gave up? How you tried it in a different location before.. First time loading nav takes sometime to catch a a signal

Ive already tried this a number of time lots of different locations I wait until it gives me an error message which says it cannot find the gps signal.

I did a hard reset and the gps worked, I restore all of my files and it doesn't work at all. In both situations i've tried gps a number of times.

Please don't treat me like I'm some sort of idiot. Thanks.

Alright guys I think we can close a chapter on this one. I uninstalled yahoo go but it didn't do anything at all to help. I think there was just something weird blocking it so I did another hard reset and installed all my programs checking my gps as I went. I've had no problems since.

I think my problem could have been that i made the backup back in the stock rom so maybe that was blocking it? Just a thought. Thanks for all the help guys.
