Overview: With SelectRadio software, you can receive thousands of Internet radio channels, XM radio channels, and podcast programs on your Pocket PC. SelectRadio software offers advanced features which help you explore new audio content and customize your listening experience.

For live listening, SelectRadio requires a network connection either through your carrier data plan connection, direct wireless ethernet or tethered to your desktop connection using ActiveSync pass through mode. A subscription to either XM Satellite Radio or XM Radio Online is required to receive the XM channels.

OK, I got it installed and working on both Sirius and XM. I subscribe to both. Now it tells me that my trial has expired and to purchase a key. I downloaded the version with the key gen but can't get it to work on either my Touch or my PC. So how do I generate a key and put it in so I can keep lisining to it?

the keygen works without a problem for me i jsut typed inthe username i have on my phone under settings/personal/owners info/ and than it spat out a key for me and i was golden. you sure you typed in the name correctly and it should be ran on the ppc

I didn't get a chance to enter my username. When I click on the SelectRadio_key.exe file it pops up with "The file "SelectRadio_key cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificat, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file."

I have tried both. Any suggestions? Did you run the keygen before you intalled the cab? I ran the app on my pc and it installed the cab on my phone.

Hah, look at that - it does work. Th keygen is likely the most confusing one I've ever used... and I even wrote a guide on using them! (For Desktops: http://www.guidoz.com/cpsk.html)

OK, I'll let you know if it worked in 61 minutes (unless you want to give me one) cause that is how long I have to wait for rapidshare. I haven't downloaded from them in days so I don't know why the wait. Also the rapidshare link in your first post comes back file not found. So I hope the one from the megaupload mirror is a good one.

lol, yea I know you can't give out the rapidshare account. What I was fishing for was a key code based on my username so I could speed up the proccess. But I'll wait, not a prob.

umm if you want a repid share account to use for a pretty cheap price cause they are expensive you can subscribe to the vip section and ill try and get that key for you

make sure you follow the steps from the link with the rapidshare link in it and follow those directions to a T and it should work no problems... the guyz at the forum that i found it at had it working no problem so try that and see if that works. if not i will close the thread and throw this in the recycle bin since i have never had problems with an app like this before.... there are many other radio apps out there and we have them all this is just a funky ass one lol.

OK, this thing does work great if you have the instructions. Dude, your instructions link to rapidfiles is still not working. I was able to research this online and came up with the step by step instructions. I will be happy to post them here but don't know what your policy is on that. Anyway, thanks a ton guys and keep up the good work.

Here are the instructions that I followed to get it to work:

How To get SelectRadio Key:

1) Install version 3.5.3 but do not open
2) Cut and paste the SelectRadio_key file in the same folder as selectradio folder (program files/selectradio)
3) Click on the keygen to start
4) It will generate an error popup window, with a Serial Number, it depends on you Device ID. Write this 16 digit serial number down.
5) Un-install version 3.5.3
6) Install version 4.2.2, open it, and after it loads all of the channels, enter the Serial Number you obtained from previous intallation. Click save key.

That's it.

This might be off topic but I did a search first and couldn't find a thread. I was wondering if you had a solution to the streaming audio cutting out or not playing when you put it in standby? I want to stream audio while working out and being a touch, well you know. I can see all kinds of problems with it changing apps and channels on me.

yeah for sure sometimes it is hard and all to keep up with the threads. we are working on finding some more staff so we can get all the questions and more apps posted in a more efficient rate and with less strees on the few staff that we have.

No prob Tigerz, I will eventually become a premium member, just have to get over the sticker shock of this new phone and all of the accessories. You guys have already saved me some cash and I want to compensate you guys for you effort somehow.

BTW, this is a great all in one app for streaming music. Especially for the users having problems with the stand alone Sirius apps. It would be worth the $25 price, but thanks to you guys, it's FREE!!

Something's not working right, where are the version 4.2.2 and 3.5.3? I only see v4.02. And instruction not quite making sense. I know they are listed step by step but all files I dowloaded from this thread is adding up right. Files I have:
SelectRadio.v4.0.2_and_v3.5.3.PPC.incl.keygen.rar; SelectRadio_key.rar; and SelectRadioPPCv402.cab.

Don't think I have everything unless something changed. Please help me out, what do I need to do. Thanks a lot!

bro without seeing sometimes these are hard to explain....... if you could take some screenshots of the steps you were taking that would be helpful otherwise i wont be able to help you.

On my computer, I doubled clicked on the: SelectRadio.v4.0.2_and_v3.5.3.PPC.incl.keygen.rar file. It says windows cannot open this file. It says in order to open it, it has to know what program created it. It can search on internet or I can choose from from a list. Those are the options it gives me, either option in nothing. Thanks!!

it sghould be an exe file bro.... do you have something like winrar installed on your computer.

no I don't have winrar, I do have the cab file installed on my phone but the instructions say don't run it yet.

theres many of time it is mentioned. just go to goole and it will say 30 days but oyu can still use fully after 30 days for free just x out of the warning and thats it.

Ok I'm back. I'm trying to get this thing to work. I followed the instructions on pg 2 of this thread, didn't work and instructions are not clear, doesn't make sense. Did what you said to do Dash, it was working then all of a sudden it wanted me to put a username and password for everything, then it said that my time is up and I have to put in a key. What am I doing wrong?

And do I have to register with all those radio's in order to listen to them?

yes its all including in the read me this is getting out of hand and bout to close the thread... jsut follow the readme to a T than it will work.

i did this and its activated and all but i cant use the sirius stations. i need some help using surius, shoutcast and all work fine

you need to have a sirius radio subscription to be able to use it.
