i moved all the files over from what kaos gave me to the phone and let it overwrite everything that was already there than turned it off than performed an soft reset

no bro you flash the phone been discussed before please search and you will find the steps. labeled titan flashing for dummies and some other good ones out there we have posted.

lol for sure i have been going through it for almost a year now...... sometimes it gets to you and lately i have been walking away and drinking a beer than coming back. in the past i would chew them out but i didnt want the site to be the meanest one out there and have people not come here you know.

im having a memory issue here.
after a soft reset im usually at something around 20-21mb, but as the day goes on i see that the memory keeps decreasing. like right now i havent soft reset the pone in like 30 hours and my memory is down to 7mb with no programs running

will that i would say is somewhat normal if you have been downloading emails and searching the web and using applications. Just because your apps are closed doent always increase memorey back to 20-21mb. I would recommend running the program called Oxios Hibernate. that will free up some memory. That program is built into your ROM under Programs! If this helps, click the thanks button..

oh, and you can also soft rest and be golden again

hey, this your custom rom is pretty sweet. everything is running smoothly. only things id like fixed is to have smartdialing to go along with the skin. and also in the tpoo bar of my screen there is an ugly fragmented battery icon next to the new improved one...it gets kinda annoying lol. other than that, its awesome dude.

I got rid of that fragmented battery icon by going to HTC Customizer>options tab> and I checked the "Show Titlebar Clock" box. Save it, then a soft reset and you should be good to go.

Well I just finished reading this whole thread here at work. When I get home I will attempt to flash this rom to my phone. Wish me luck because I am a complete NooB! Hopefully I wont end up with a brick :(

lol guys search a little i posted the battery fix long ago in ppc6800 help desk as a sticky...
it affects all 6.1 roms.Smart dialing cab in in my post the first one as well...bottom of the thread..it works with the skin i used in my rom.

Ok I flashed Kaos's Rom last night. It is pretty way better than sprints crap. I had no problem with the flash (being a noob and all).

However I do notice that my battery is draining real fast (and yes I turned off beam). For example last night after flashing my battery was at 99%, I left the phone uncharged from 10:30 pm last night to 5:30 am today. When I checked at 5:30 it was at 31%. Keep in mind the phone was not being used that whole time. Is this normal battery rate??

No, nothing running at all. I just installed the rom, then turned off beam, havent installed anything else.

Also, how long should it take to charge? I've been charging since 7 a.m. its now 11 and it just finished charging 4 hrs later (from about 30%)

Yeah, after flashing I soft reset before sprint customization, then I took off the battery (bout a min) then I hard reset. Then it started up again. However, after it started up again it was going to do the sprint customization again so i soft reset again. Then it booted back up.

thats your problem right there.... you need the customizations. YOU HAVE TO LET THEM RUN COMPLETELY!!!!

im pretty sure you want them to run i dont run kaos's but since it is off of no2chems you will want them to run fully to get the apps installed correctly and all...ill jsut wait for kaos to get back asnd answer this for you all..... but thats they way that i see it.

im back.........Yes soft reset before customization...only thing you will need to run after....is iota cab in extrom....i dont lets sprints customization run cause i removed some of their garbage...like audiopair....
