How to unlock/get a new # for the htc touch...

I need to know how to get a new # or unlock my htc touch (which was found) so because i want to register it with bell, without them knowing that it was found. I need to know how to change it exactly step by step. thanks.

Not sure if that is possible. The phone has s/n and all that and if was reported lost then when you go to activate it, they will know since they will need the s/n off the phone. I could be wrong though

yeah but i was told there was a way to change it... so you can activate it... this is what i was told and i have no clue how to do it "the numbers will be dirty you would have to lone. also yes you would be able to after you clone the esn from a different phone that you have with the provider asnd has clean numbers."

so my idea is getting a phone from bell a krappy one and then clonein the esn on to the htc touch... is that the idea?? or is there sumthing else

it is actually possible to do i believe. its long and tedious and not recommended since its considered stealing. why not try and find the owner and give it back to them? also is it an gsm version or cdma.


i know how to do it. well read how to do it not have tried it myself. but i refuse to post how without permission from the owners. because like i said its considered stealing. why not try to find the owner and give it back. think of it like this. how would u feel if u lost such an expensive phone and couldnt get it back. or how would u feel if u lost it and sum1 returned it. it would be good. i know i would be happy to get my phone back because i would be mad after i lost it.

That's a good answer. I also have read about this BUT didn't want to even give any hope of it being possible cause it would be concidered stealing. That's why I just played dumb.

look in the touch area of the help desk and it is stickied on how to do it but no support through here on doing so since i too do not feel it is right to do so and dont support it...... if you have questions you will have to ask there.

still could of looked through the phone for an number to call to contact them and give it back. they could of reactivated it once they recieved it back.

Wckediden will not be assisting you in how to unlock the phone since you said you found it..that to me is stealing all you have to do is contact the carrier of the phone and say to them that you found the phone and how can you go about returning it.they will send you a prepackage envelope postage paid ..and all you have to do is return it. But you since you insist in unlocking it you are on your own...no support will be given by Wckediden to this.....

HULK HTC TOUCH PRO

well this is my problem i got a custom rom with the incredible hulk theme it is the best phone i ever had and when i had it on sprint it worked perfect and now that i have took it to cdma boost i can not get the MSL code to open the phone so i can program my number same phone same number same SYSTEM AS BOOST CDMA IS OWNED BY SPRINT AND I HAVE SOLD AND ACTIVATED WELL OVER 50 PHONES I DID LIKE I NORMALLY DO I START THE SERVICE WITH A REGULAR BOOST CDMA AND THEN I DO A SIMPLE ESN SWAP WITH A SPRINT PHONE THAT HAS A CLEAN ESN (BUT THIS TIME) I RAN INTO PROBLEMS AS I USED THE SAME EXACT 6 DIGIT MSL CODE AS WHEN I WAS A SPRINT CUSTOMER LESS THAN A WEEK A GO SO I HAD A FRIEND AT BOOST PUT MY DEC IN THE SYSTEM SO I'M GOOD THERE AND I KNOW MY MSID BUT I NEED TO GET TO THE VIEW,EDIT SCREEN SO I CAN PROGRAM THE PHONE SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME ! I'M UP ALL NIGHT

So this is for a Touch or Touch Pro ? and the program you can use is BAFTools it will get your MSL so you can get to that screen!!!! Do a search for it here on the site.

touch pro sprint custom wm 6.5 with hulk theme and i'm fiending as i can not get any of my calls but when i program it i'm up and running as my friend has already put my dec in the system and i have full data just need to program my number and i'm good but stressing bad thanks again

so i founf the tool i went to it from my TP no problems it downloaded no problems i installed it no problems but when i tried to run it ! it took me awhile cause i kept getting and error? but then i looked and it said to do a soft reset and right when it fired back up run it and i did and it gave me the exact same F^(&()&)) code they gave me from SPRINT and BOOST CDMA so i'm thinking this is bull back to sqaure one then i put it in and BOOM! i'm in so i get in there and change my MSID thats all good but i can not find my MDN so i'm poking around and BOOM! i find it change it and BADA BING! PORTING TO AT&t FROM SPRINT = 40 BUCKS,waiting 5 days wile using my 25 cents a minute pre-paid like a pager = 1000 bucks(in head aches) the KNOWLEDGE from you GUYS at Wckediden = PRICELESS
