ppc 6700??

i was trying to install wm6 for my 6700 and when i ran the ppckitchen it somehow had an error during install. i cannot use the phone. all it sayd on top is "serial" on the bottom "v1.00" so i tried doing a hard reset but didnt help. do i have to go to verizon to have it reflashed?? the phone is still in good standing with vzw.. if not what steps could i take... thanks for your help....

IF you can get to the boot loader screen to reflash.,.. it should go from serial to usb.. flash back to the original ROM if you caN!

it doesnt go into boot loader screen. when i hard reset it attempts to but the serial v1.00 reverts back onto the screen.. did i just make a nice new paperweight??

honestly not too sure... Let Kaos or Dash have a look as they have flashed those 6700 before. Sorry !

yeah basically what you did there was not get the rom image wrote completely and i havent foudn a way out of that screen myself for the verizon phone. my boys phone has been like that for a couple months and im still trying to figure out how to fix that....... since the screen your talking bout is the black background where you can barely see that it says serial 1.00 and all that jazz correct.

ok cool thanks guys. ill go to verizon see if they can reinstall software. i dont have any programs other than phm regedit and a performance upgrade. so no biggie all other software was legal. i will update u if they can make correction dash.. thanks again..

here is the software. if you have the driver for the 6700 you run this program it will load u back to factory settings..

yea.. i ran the software and right after i soft reset and it booted. no prob.

cool good looking ....when my boy gets back from college on the 11th of june ill run it and see what it does.
