to get the weather screen you will need marsware weatherpanel installed on youir phone than you will use the files for the weather and add to the skins folder.

Ok Bystrov and whoever else who is having this problem, I think I have figured this out. In order for it to look like the screenshots posted, we have to install each program first, swcked mobile shell is not all we need, we need all the programs.
We need swcked mobile shell 2.1:https://www.wckediden.com/showthread...le+shell...3rd page;

Once we have all these programs installed on our phone, now we can download WM7 and make our changes/customizations. I am in the process of doing this but I'm almost sure this will work. It's not 100% clear in this thread but I think this is what needs to b done. Hopefully these r the correct links and programs, not 100% sure these r correct ones or the right versions but I'm about to try it. Hope this helps.

As discussed above and before.. Please make sure you have Mobile shell 2.1 installed. If so, then drop the files into the appropriate folders described above then soft reset and you should have the theme!

If you have everything installed as I instructed a few post back, it should work fine. I tested it and works great. You have to go to settings within each program, then change theme to the ones u copied over and it should work, I just did it. Hope this helps!

Hey Dash, I got everything working except keyboard. I installed PCMkeyboard did a soft reset but no change to keyboard. There is nothing in program files that I can see to launch program. Is there a setting somewhere to say what keyboard to use? Or do you have an idea of what i am doing wrong. For the most part looks like screenies but no keyboard. Thanks

bro we cant make a video on everything those take a long time to make set up and not to mention the long time to put on youtube...... asnd i dont run this set of skins so i cant be of help there........ but go through the steps and take some breathers bro all the info is there your just downloading all the apps and replacing the files.....

for the keyboard it might be under pocketcm, keyboard, a few different things are possibilities..... and you might have installed to the card or the main memory so look in both places.

Thanks for quick response as usual. First, I found setting but when I choose PCM keyboard it sayd Pocket Cm Keyboard has to be current SIP. WHAT does that mean. Also phone for the most part looks CLOSE to screenies but still think I have some things wrong. Thanks for any help, as I said I spent several hours trying to figure this out. I was thinking about trying to make my own but not so sure I want to spend that much time

Also Huge advice for anyone who cant get this app to work.......
1) make sure you upload all the correct apps to the phone.
2) make sure you do a soft reset
3)Double check that you have all your apps uploaded
4)Disconnect your htc touch/mogul from the computer,
5)Take your HTC Mogul/touch to a local movie theater with you and MAKE SURE to buy a ticket for INDIANA JONES...... Also works with sex in the city.
5)After the movie ends, reset the software and ENJOY your new WM7 skin.....

yes you downlaod all the apps that you wanna skin first..... all these do is skin the applications background and give different icons...... so download the application than overwrite the files like the instructions say.

I'm performing this install on the HTC TITAN (6800) for Sprint with SLIDE2UNLOCK installed (don't know if this has any relevance).
I did everything as specified in the instructions. I almost got it right, but I've run into something REALLY weird.

Starting from a fresh, soft reset, the phone boots to my TODAY screen. I've turned off ALL plugins, so the screen is blank.
If I hit the POWER button on the side to turn the screen off and then hit the POWER button again, the SLIDE2UNLOCK is invoked. I slide...and THEN i get this sweet interface (almost) as shown in the WM7 theme pictures.
I do all of the slide-with-finger animations, left-to-right...right-to-left.
If I slide my finger UP or DOWN, it exits and I'm back to the BLANK today screen.
WHY:
1) Does my reset start at a blank today screen and I have to turn the screen off and then on, to get this interface?
2) Does sliding my finger UP or DOWN exit this interface and take me back to this blank today screen?

I've sat here for 2 hours and finally broke down and posted for help.

1. because the apps dont auto start of bootup unless you place them in the startup folder under windows.......
2. you prolly have touchflo installed go to touchflo settings under settings and than for up to down and down to up make them blank and than soft reset.

I don't know what else you have install on your phone like dash says but I know if you have swcked mobile shell installed and you are actually in the mobile shell screen or interface, if you slide your finger from up to down, that exits the swcked mobile shell screen and takes you back to your regular today screen, in your case you said its empty. So when you slide from up to down, your screen will be blank.

oh snap so if aqs the above brudda man says you want mobile shell to come up after ytou slide2unlcok and on bootup you will have to go to the settings and there is an option to check to have it sahow up as your default homescreen.

Yeah, even if you turn your screen off and then back on, when you turn it back on it will go into swcked mobile shell unless you go into options and turn that off.

What exactly are you trying to do, don't know if you read all of thread but I thought I answered your questions for you. If you want to start the swcked mobile shell, you should see something in lower right hand corner, above the right soft key button that says "swcked menu", Or you can go to start/programs/swcked menu. If you hit that, it will take you into the swcked mobile shell program. Once you are in the program, you can slide your finger from up to down to exit the program and go back to your today screen, which will be blank because you have all the plugins turned off. I will try to help u as much as I can because I spent a lot of time getting mine to work so I know a little something about this. Oh, one more thing, if this helps, hit the thanks button because I helped you out before and you didn't hit that thanks button. Hope this helps!!

I put a shortcut to the "Menulauncher.exe" and it fixed the boot up question I had.
However.....I may be off-base with all of this. Are people running this "theme"/setup via the shell or via the "today" screen?

I myself am running from the shell. From the shell, I don't get the cool looking CONTACT MANAGER or WEATHER. However, I noticed from those pics, they are running from the TODAY screen.
The nifty icons from the pictures, ie Organizer, Internet, Multimedia are all present in my SHELL.

In summation, it appears that this theme is 2-fold. You get some bells and whistles in your TODAY. You also get some bells and whistles in your SHELL.
Is that right (to end my agony, hehe)?

Know of any good links to customize/edit the parameters of the Swcked shell?

You need more than just the swcked mobile shell program in order to get weather and contacts theme as shown in picture above. If you go to page 6 of this thread, I have posted all the links you need in order to get your phone to look like the picture shown above. Once u have all programs that you want and need, follow the instructions in first post and you will be in business. Took me a while to figure that out myself, that's why I posted that so people would see exactly what you need in order to get your theme like the picture shows. Hope this helps, if you need more help, just post and I will try to help you as best as possible. By the way, I'm the cad genius : )

I have, to the 'T', followed the directions outlined on pages 1 and 6. (trust me....I'm an engineer......I would follow directions on a pop-tart wrapper)

Let me try to focus my question better. I think my ADD is getting the best of me. I have everything in place and all the right themes, etc. selected in the corresponding programs...I just can't quite get it. (ugh I feel like a dumb a$$)

The best place to start is......do you run the SHELL, the TODAY screen, or both?

a) I really am retarded
b) If I run the SHELL, I get the cool icons....but I don't get the bad a$$ weather setup, I don't get the sweet contacts setup etc. I get whatever is hooked up in Swcked shell.
If I run the TODAY screen, with the plugin turned on, I get the bad a$$ weather setup, I get the sweet contacts setup.....but I don't get the cool "touchflo" navgation (like you do in the shell by finger motion across the screen).

'a' is still being determined, so let's go with 'b'.

That's what I have, you can do some sweet stuff with it and I think you'll love it. With this program I think you'll be able to do what you want to do. So to answer your question, no these theme doesn't run within the swcked mobile shell program, they are different programs unless there is something I don't know.

I knew, deep down in my "you're not an idiot" soul that there was something that I wasn't quite putting together. That's IT!!
I was trying to make apple juice with oranges.....it just doesn't work.
Okay, so I'm not a complete idiot....I think that after I saw the pictures, I was expecting something else....
Perhaps the directions could be ammended with a "What to expect" scenario.
I would be happy to accomodate, with permission of course.

OH WELL....

So I do have Ultimate Lauch installed already. I wasn't impressed with it out-the-box. But, then again....I didn't really mess with it too much.

Care to drop some knowledge or resources about it? Yeah, I could do some researching...but since you're talking all that jazz about CAD.....I'll let you slide and won't call your bluff if you drop me some 411 on where to go.

Well I can't tell you about it in the wm7 theme thread, Dash and the other owners wouldn't be happy with that. unzip on your computer fisrst with winrar than follow the steps in the first post.

you need winrar or winzip go to the noob guide in the help desk area and read through that you can also get the direct link form my signature.

I'm having trouble install a few of the skins. Do I have to install a cab for pocket keyboard cause it's not showing up in the program files. Also can't find rlToday and MarsWare. Other than that the skin is sweet.
