The real HTC Diamond skin

I take no credit for this skin, I found this over at xda developed by agamemmnon and much thanks to him for this

This is the official HTC Diamond Skin and cannot get better then this.

Instructions: copy both gif files to device/programs/Pshutxp
and if you want the new shortcut icon jus drag the exe file in the zip to device/programs/PShutxp

yea i get out in 10 minutes and my girl is on the way to pick me b/c its raining hell over here, soon as I get home ima have a few beers and figure out where is the party at tonight....o and by the way, yesterday I bought like 5 boxes of teriyaki and rotiserrie chicken noodles dammn i love them noodles

Man, I leave this forum for a couple of hours and you all go and have a party without me! Too bad, because I would've brought the beer. Lol! And being that I'm disabled and use either a bed with wheels or a wheelchair to get around, I could have also been the designated driver, because you know I can't afford to drink and drive! HaHa!

About the zip file that I just downloaded from the first post in this thread, can you explain once more what I'm to do with the contents of the zip? I'm really new to this, guys, and I'm somewhat anxious about changing the look of the phone.

ok what you do is take the 2 image files in the zip and extract. than transfer to your phone and place them in the psshtxp folder under start/program files/psshutxp

Sounds easy enough. :) It's getting late here, so I'll try the transfer tomorrow and let you know how it goes.

If for whatever reason I want to return to my original interface, do I just remove these files as easily as I'm assuming it'll be to install them?

yup and it will return the application (psshutxp) to the original way that it looked after a soft reset...... remember you need the program to be able to use this skin....

I'm happy to report that I successfully installed the shutdown screen that was offered through this thread. I am a little confused because I thought this program was going to allow me to install an entire theme, but instead it only installed the HTC Diamond theme that only affects the shutdown screen. Is the phone actually suppose to shutdown (As in shut off the phone) or is that just for show? Clicking on the shutdown and light off buttons simply turn off the screen. Is the shutdown or turn off button suppose to actually turn off the phone. That would be cool if it did.

I was also under the impression that the program would change the complete interface, but I guess I was really wrong.

naw it turns off the radio not the whole phone so in a way it doesn since you wont receive calls or texts........ jsut email and access of the phone in tinkering..... and the reset resets of course and the light off does just that.
