Completely lost.

Just bought the HTC touch, everything is stock. As of now, well I have no idea where to start. Do I download the 6.1 update or is it pre-installed? do I have to unlock it? If so how?...

TO GET 6.1 YOU MUST DOWNLOAD AND FLASH A 6.1 BASED ROM (THERES A LINK IN MY SIGNATURE THAT SHOWS YOU HOW) A GOOD START IS TI DOWNLOAD THE LATEST OFFICIAL SPRINT ROM THAT HAS 6.1, REV A, AND GPS, AND WORK UP FROM THERE, ALL THE REST ARE BASED ON YOUR NEEDS AND PERSONAL PREFERENCE SO LOOK AROUND AND SEE WHAT YOU LIKE

u will probably have to down load it, u can look up to see what radio version u have because that will tell also...

Okay I need to download the sprint update, then I need to get imcokeman's unlocker? then everything is up 2 me from there?

thx for everything... I found a video of basically how to upload a program, so I have a better idea now. Ill try and keep the redundant post to a minimum, sorry for asking a question I'm sure has been asked before.. thx
