Here is my Vista inspired ThrottleLauncher skin this bugger took forever to finish probably have almost 90 hours into this one so someone better use it...... I'm looking at you broSki lol

I actually really like usen ThrottleLauncher its pretty snappy once it does its first load of stuff, pretty easy to configure and no errors thus far.

It is a nightmare to skin tho as the files are all over the directory its like its pulling from 3 locations just to make one skin.... I think I almost have it all figured out now... almost... hahaha. They should be given me kickbacks as I'm sure more people will use this If there were more skins for it... but I do see why there are so few. Altho I found it far easier then skinning Swcked Mobile shell. that is just a frickn mess that one stupid password protected files in special secret formats, companys are stupid to do things like that with the graphic part of thier software as everyone wants a change now and then... I doesn't matter how good your program is if it looks like sh@t or there are only 2 skins for it nobody will ever use it for long.

Ok, I give up, I gotta bite the bullet and ask. And its probably staring me in the face but how can I change the color of the main page text? Im referring to where is says 0 missed calls and no upcoming appts as well as where the carrier name and date are. In your screenshot your carrier name and date are lgt blue and the display text is white. Mine is grey. The only thing thats white is the alarm on button. I have looked in a million xml files and i cannot figure out what to change to change that text? Your advice?

Those files are located in the dark theme folder"header" for the user name and carrier name, and the touchflow3d home.xml for the calls and appointments, if you uploaded the entire folder from my zip they should have changed unless you need to set to the dark theme in your throttle settings.<< you should do that as I have tweaked many of those files as well.

After ripping my hair out and 2 shots of tequila I finally found it. lol. Thanx for the info or I probably never would. I did copy your exact TL file, issue is... in TL the xml's are mostly in different folders and in your zip its one big file with all the files in it so theres like 20+ xml files all in the folder, only a few have specific names. Theres like 12 different ones named "skin" so it was rather excrutiatingly tedious to find which xml replaced which lol. I had to open each one and try to compare file sizes hahaha, That in itself was hilarious. Pain in the ass, but well worth it once all are in place. THE SKIN KICKS ASS! BEST BY FAR! Even with the xml headache, hands down you are still totally freaking awesome! I SO love TL now bc of u! MUAH!!

I'm glad you sorted it out I'm still wondering why it didn't load up right the first time tho...mmmmm I still say the best thing to do is back up the entire 3d folder delete it and load up mine. then nothing gets missed.

First you must have throttlelauncher 0.9.3 installed and running on your phone.

then navigate to your throttlelauncher install folder on your phone

open the folders until you see a touchflow3d folder make a copy of this on your PC as a backup if you choose to return the theme to original...
got it backed up on your pc??? ok

Delete that folder for your phone and upload mine from the zip file in the same spot.

now upload the .tsk file to your My Documents folder and active it as your today theme.

reset your phone and your done.

omg wow! that was F'ing close!!! i thought i F'ed up my phone....... i did what it said and reset and my phone kept freezing in the windows mobile 6.1 green screen!!!! so i took my batery out 4 awhile.... and reset and it works great... i just wanted to share this... so if any1 has this issue they will know what to do.... very nice tho probex :toothy1:
