Ive got a Sprint Touch already running 6.1. Do I need to unlock this before flashing or not. I didnt have to the last ROM I flashed. Thanks.

man i like this rom, but im havin an issue with installin the dciNoBar file, i didnt have any problems before only with this rom, any suggestions? it doesnt really get rid of the bottom bar completely...

have you already unlocked your phone and running a custom rom or the stock one?

well the stock are exe files you cant jsut rename a exe file you would have to take the nbh out of it to do that i would recommend reading the how to flash guide in my signature below

I went ahead and unlocked it with the Vogue Unlocker MFG 231 Still wont go past the bootloader screen; Is it because my sd card is 8gb Should I drag the file to my device instead

Yeah just like the thread said to I think Im a victim of my own arrogance and thought I knew what I was doing I read the rest of the thread on how to flash a ROM and it seems to be working now Its flashing as I type this Ill let you know if I have any more trouble thanks for your patience and help

just a fyi... ive never been able to get any sd card to flash but a 1gb....my 8gbsdhc wont as well as smaller then 1gb...smaller cause it needs to rewrite to the card...

I went too sprint and had them upgrade my touch from the wm6 too the wm6.1, and im not happy at all, is there anyway can get this one, the one I have now keep freezin and lookin up, it ran better before the change, now it wont play my .Flv video files, but I wanted GPS . Thanks for your input and help in advance

More Detail & Update (ON STALLED WHITE SCREEN):

1) It's a newly purchased HTC Touch/Vogue Phone from Sprint. (Just Days Old)

2) First thing I did -- day one -- was load the official ROM update from HTC.

All went swimingly: radio updated to 3.42.30 & GPS worked, etc.

Later...

3) I used the ImCokeMan 2.31 Vogue Unlocker to do a hard SPL. It appeared to be successful.

4) Then I downloaded Kaos' Sprint release (this thread,) renamed it VOGUIMG.NBH & and dropped it on a FAT32 formatted 1GB microSD card.

5) I did the camera-power-reset to load the Kaos ROM, and got the white "Loading..." screen...

I left it at the said white-screen for about an hour...


NOW 2thePOINT: Am I doing things properly?


Decided to do a hard-reset: successfully reverting to the Stock OS + Sprint Customizations.

So is the phone ready for a second-go?

While I'm waiting for a reply, I'm going to check the bootloader, to see if it is indeed the ImCokeMan Unlocked SPL.

seems your doing all correct...make sure iamcokes 2.31 stuck......also if it says 1005 successful and just sits there...soft reset and pull card...you will reboot on my rom......if when booting says 3.09.666.1 your on mine.

he might make a version for telus if you ask and he has the time.... but anyways you can still flash this no troubles... go to www.htc.com or do a search here for the newest sprint rom and upgrade to that... make sure that you dont let the customizations run!! than once you do that unlcok and flash over to this rom..... than your doneand all set to go!!! for further steps on the process of flashing feel free to look in my signature at the step by step tutorial for flashing roms.

he is making a mogul/6800 rom and will drop once he is done. This rom will never work with the 6800 seeing as though they are two different phones.

why the hell would you ask dash? he didn't make it? are you dumb or you just can't read?I have a beta for sprint done been working on a mogul alltel. but to be honest most mogulers seem ungrateful so me making mogul roms for public release i've been seriously thinking about...I did it to still help but iall i get is complaints. never positive. so i think i may end mogul roms.....At least public.

you can install it again with the cab but doesnt come on the rom...... waste of space if you ask me... i never even used mine.

hey kaos - was wondering if you can help me out.. i'm currently running your other rom, **** sprint.. i already downloaded the .nbh file for sprint and placed the file on the folder with the RUU.. when i run the RUU.exe, i'm always losing connection with activsync. error coded 262.. i recall having this problem as well when installing your custom rom from stock but after a few tries, it worked eventually.

i've been trying to install this rom since last night and haven't gotten far. please help.. am i doing something wrong?

what does the error message say afterwards???? did you unlock your phone?

my phone should already be unlocked right since i already went from stock to a custom kaos f sprint ROM.. from what i read, once you unlock, you don't need to unlock anymore. is this true?

the error takes me to a recovery window with 4 steps:
1. unplug the usb
2. pull out battery and wait 3 seconds.
3. start the phone
4. sync again..

once i do everything, it still loads the old ROM cuz i could never pass 0% when updating the ROM.

hope you don't mind that i also posted on the other thread cuz i'm about to give up with this process and try the other route, putting the nbh file to the storage card but i don't know how to format to fat32. my laptop doesn't have a sd reader..

i'll try either way, doesn't matter to me..

the restore doesnt help me i need what it says after the error, like unknown device, or connection error, etc.
