I know the Diamond was available to order online before it came out but, does anyone know the exact date on when the touch pro will be available to order online on the website? I know its coming out the 19th but, will you be able to order the phone before then?

doubt it, but all you have to do is call on the 19that 8 am when they open up and you will have one over nighted to you :>

i was wondering the same but if i order online will it be over night also, and should i call the sprint up the street from me or what, and also if i order online will it go on my bill or do i pay when i order because i want to make sure i have my money in my account when i go to order

If you have a non spending limit acct and your in good standing they will. They just did for me. However they charge me the price of phone but I get that price credited soon as they get my touch back.....Hence I paid nothing.
If you have a spending limit only acct services can make it happen. But beware it can put you over your limit

By upgrading your phone online, you can get free shipping and activation. Requires a plan in good standing of $34.99/mo. or higher, and a 1- or 2-yr. contract. If you order through the phone or go to the store they are gonna charge extra fees etc....That is what they are saying online I don't feel like going and waiting in line and getting charged extra crap. Also if your a govt employee you get an extra $50 bucks off the phone. So its the same price as the diamond.

i get a 15% discount on anything i buy WOOOOOOOOOW 15% . thats alot.plus they knuck that off my bill too

I just called the "800" # in my local Phone Book (Salem Oregon) and asked when the Touch Pro would be available. They said it would be Nov 2nd. They asked if I wanted a call back when the phone became available to order and I said "sure". Then they asked if I was currently a Sprint customer and I told them that I am not as I am currently with Verizon yet my contract is up and I am just waiting for this phone to come out before I make the switch. The woman then asked if I wanted to get my credit checked so as to pre-approve me so when the phone was available they would call and get the account set up and ship the phone next-day air. So I am all set - she even told me if the phone release date gets moved closer that she would call the day before release so I could have it by release day! Woot I am soooooo Stoked!!

congrats but i will tell you one thing though.... call back and make sure the notes were added to your accoutn.. sprint is known for saying things to make you happy and than having no trace of it ever being said even though it was supposed to be in your notes........ hope all goes well and tell us if they added it to your notes when you find out :>

Thank you and I will let you know how it goes. I plan to just keep watching their site and other places until I can find more info on an actual release date and then call them back if I don't hear anything. I am totally Jonesing for this phone and have been for about 5 months now. I was going to just buy the Mogul but when I saw this one just around the corner I thought I better wait. From all that I have read this really does seem like a sweet phone!

yup i just looked into my datatbase here at work and it states that it will most -likely be pushed back to the second of november......

yeah the way it looks they got he camera bug fixed and have to reflash all the phones with the added patch in the rom.......... so the second should be the final day :>

and trust me bro the phoen is everythign that you have heard it is bad ass and a dream to be the owner it..... im really digging the VG outlet on it :> and for those that need to know yes it does come with the VGA cord already included :>

well sprint knows a lot of people that got the diamond would change them for the PRO what it was released. The end of life date for the mogul even got pushed back, as well as the touch.

yeah for sure ive been looking into it at work today and in one area of my computer here it tells me that it will be the 19th and the other says the second.... the weirdest thing about both of them was that they were updated this morning....... so i have no clue whats going on and have eben makign mad calls aroudn everywhere so i can try to figure it out but no one is being a help in this damn corporate office hahahahahahahahhahahahaa as kaos says ****sprint!! Well I for one appreciate you guys and all the info you have access to! I cant tell you how freakin excited I am to get my hands on the Pro. It will be the first smart phone I have ever owned! I can't wait to put some themes on it and figure out how to do my own maybe.

the worst part is that it looks AT&T is going to drop on the 23rd of the month...... this would really hurt sprint and thats not a lie..... so that might get their asses in motion i hope :> oh yeah and the AT%T release dates are pretty much official because they never delay the release from the day the expected

Wow - if AT&T beats Sprint to it I am going to guess they will loose a lot of customers! I thought they were going to have the pro exclusive to them for at least 6 months. I did find an article confirming AT&T to release the "Fuse" on the 23rd of Oct. And the specs showed that the Fuze was going to be able to use up to 32g Micro SD card! Whats up with that? From what I have read the Pro will go up to 16G.

yup gsm standards :< and yuppers thats the one..... naw the diamond is exclusive to them for early launch not the touch pro.

I am a virgin to the Smart phones atm I have a 2006 Sanyo Katana with no web, no email , no gps nothin...It has many dents and looks like crap. It would be a major upgrade! The gps would have helped me when I got lost on vacation for 45min..I finally drove to a gas station and asked for direction...For realz though I waitin to get my cherry popped lol Can't wait!

At Least its a week less...Thats good news I guess...I am willing to compromise..since they can't push it out this weekend..I get jealous everytime I'm at work and everyone has a smartphone and surfin the web watchin movies or listenin to music...It would be nice to suprise me and push it out this weekend .....

I called em again today *Oct 16th* (I know - Im obsessed!) and they told me it was the 19th too but Im not going to hold my breath - Ive been all over the net and seems there are different dates all over. Ive even been told by different Sprint employees different dates. The 19th would be fine with me however - The sooner the better! I am a freakin mess jonesning over this one lol!

So whats the deal with Sprint shipping these to other retailers like Best Buy before they even stock em?? I have allready had Sprint approve me and so now if Best Buy gets em first then they will have to run yet another credit check. I would think that the online Sprint store would be the first place to check but now who knows eh?

yeah talked to my boss again this morning and the date is now changed to the 27th like i posted in here earlier with the 2nd being the LATEST in caps it syas.... sohopefully soon so im not the only here at Wckediden wth a cdma touch pro.

yeah for sure bro it might still happen on the 19th especially since my boss just called me minutes ago while i was on the can and its changed the 19th again only for online telesales at 7am eastern time..... damn i love the way that sprint works and i have this weekend off so i cant do my research on work computer unless my boss will allow me to remote access into it........ going to give him a call and see if i can guide him to the information so i can remote access :smile:

Sweet - well keep us posted as I am sure I am not the only one here going freakin crazy for any new news on this puppy. My wife is about ready to kill me at this point and just wants the wait to be over too lol
