Everything with the ROM upgrade went swimmingly except for GPS. When Microsoft Live Search is "getting position" I get the following error, "Sorry, could not communicate with GPS on Port 0". BTW, is there a way to search a specific thread?

you have to change your settings for live search. go to menu then settings then change gps com0 to gps intermediate driver. and this has nothing to do with kaos rom. it's just the live search app itself. it's the newest version that's doing this and i'm assuming you have that. :connie_09:

This is deff a sweet flash im loving it, I just need to figure out how to use the led feature lol. over all no issues yet I'm loving it, ill post if there is issues with any thing, Oh yeah super fast.

I am using Sprint Nav with this ROM with NO issues. I installed the Sprint Nav cab file from this site. I don't know where your Sprint Nav came from? Maybe it has something to do with that?

What kind of error are you seeing? Where did the cab come from? What have you tried so far? What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?

I am not getting any error i installed the cab and I get the tab on the start screen but is seems like it is locked because I can't select it with the stylus it will highlight with the thumb wheel but can't select it

Well, you will find it on this site using the search function, just like anything else. Or you can use the cab you originally used to install it in the first place. We're saying, UNINSTALL the program, not delete the cab...

Hold on a sec. I am talking about Sprint Nav, not the ROM. Try uninstalling and re-installing Sprint Nav first, not the ROM.

Ok i just installed the rom and went to the extended and installed the sprint nav cab it shows up on the home screen but I went to delete it and there is now program installed? any suggestions please

First of all, are you sure you are using Kaos Take 5, and not Take 3? If you're using Take3, you're in the wrong forum. I have my Sprint Nav installed to my main memory, not the extended ROM. I actually, don't know how exactly the Extended ROM works. Just search for the Sprint Nav cab in this site, download it and install to your main memory.

Quick question. Does this ROM have any of the 3d drivers in it? Quickly looking it over, I don't see anything that suggests it does.

If not, where can I get the 3D/Video Drivers that are talked about on htcclassaction.org ??? I would really like to get more out of this thing. I can't find the actual drivers links on that site, either.... :(

why would you need the 3d driver? i dunno if it does anything for the mogul or not besides knowing that you have it:Laie_38:

Its the video-accelerator driver that utilizes the ATI chipset. Internet Explorer becomes ridiculous for me when I try to use the sliderbar to scroll down. This indicates no video acceleration, and I am curious as to if we are supposed to have it in this rom, and if not, where to get the drivers for it.

im going to try this rom out and see if it will do better then the one I have. I will flash my rom with this 1 friday when im off and have time to flash. but to make sure I have to unlock my phone first? also can I flash without messing with my sd card? last time I just flash from my pc and had no problem and reading throughout the thread see ing as people have been having problems sd flashing. just making sure I can do the way I want unless flash takes more memory then the phone has.

yes you need to unlock your phone first, that is in the Flashing ROMS thread above. Yes, you can do it from your comp, you'll need the RUU which is also in the above thread. you don't need to touch your microSD. make sure you have the latest ROM though on your phone first

I have the rom he has in his rom but not the radio and among other features he has added and disabled. its just the 6.1 rom I have is given me problems unlike I had with 6. also forgot do I need to update the radio first or can I leave as it is and it will overwrite it?
