[HELP] Touch Pro CDMA from Ebay

I was wondering what your guys thoughts are on buying the Touch Pro off Ebay. I know with live search I can get 25% off my purchase, so I can get a brand new TP for around $350. Any advice so I don't get ripped off? Clean ESN? Sealed Box? I know I could be sold a bad pro regardless, but any tips would be great cuz I'm ready to say bye-bye to my mogul.

exactly check the seller's feedback and if he has just a couple negative comments look for them if they still available and read info on it, sometimes assholes do leave negative feedback to good sellers just b/c they didn't answer a question within 24 hours. Also make sure the item is not refurbished!!!

by the way, how do you get 25% off with Live Search? is that buying through ebay??

I bought one of my Touch Pro's off e-bay and it was great -- new in box.

Just be careful... there are a lot of scams on e-bay... do your homework and you will be fine.

Thanks for all the input guys. I did check craigslist, but no touch pros up for sale yet. I'm gonna go ahead and do the ebay thing. I just heard about people being sold phones brand new in the box and they have a bad esn when they get it. Feedback/Powerseller is a must!!

As for the live search question, just do a google search for 25% off ebay live search or something along those lines. It's a 25% rebate from microsoft for any "buy it now" purchase, but the payment has to be through paypal.

Yea and my mogul is still in good shape cosmetically and I modded the hell out of it (all thanks to Wckediden), so I know I could get at least $200 for it. Basically, I'm paying 100 bills to upgrade to one of the slickest phones on the market and I'm grandfathered into the SERO plan. Life is good. Lets just hope sprint can ride the economic wave lol.
