Snes Emulator on Touch Pro

Has anyone gotten an SNES emulator to work on the touch pro by any chance? I tried a couple different versions of pocket snes. One seems to give me an error as soon as i load up a rom and shuts down. The other version just kinda sat there and didnt do anything lol. Anyone had any luck getting one to work?

I used to use pocket snes on my touch with no issues. Actually I think I found a version that works, I guess you just need a different version that's VGA compatible. Thanks though. I'm posting it in case anyone else wants it.

Uhh...sorry for the dumb question, but what exactly is a SNES emulator and what does it do?

Basically its a program that lets you play Super Nintendo games on your WM phone.

Sweet... where can you get games for this once loaded?... Is there a PSP emulator out there? Now that would be tight!

dont think that there is for the ppc as of yet..... but search google for snes roms ppc and you will find them

Yeah what Dash said. Just do a google search for snes roms and you will find a ton of sites that have them. Don't think a psp emulator has been released yet and don't think there will be for a long long time lol. The hardware behind the psp is way too advanced to emulate on a ppc but we can always hope right? =)

i have a few questions about this version on the touch pro. i tried a few other versions and this one seems to work best. the formatting is great and the screen sizes match up perfectly but the sound options confuse me a bit. without sound sync on i get no sound and i feel like this option is slwoing the game down and making it choppy, any configuration settings i should try to get a smoother gameplay? also the keyboard on the touch pro for some reason only gives off a few select key inputs that the emulator can read, meaning all the letter and number keys are the same hardware input signal on the emulators button program screen. plus the shift keys create different hardware inputs as well confusing the issue? any conflict resolution here would be solid because the on-screen buttons dont really cut it, i got the touch pro for the keyboard not the extra 1/2 inch in width. The last thing (and now im just complaining) is how to add the .exe to my programs list in the touchflow/windows mobile program files where i can select it as an application? thanks i hope these are easy fixes or at least common problems

Unfortunately turning on the sound does make the framerate drop. You can tweak the settings and put it on the lowest quality sound settings so that it doesn't effect it as much but it will still play a lot smoother without sound. As far as mapping buttons I found this program but haven't tested it yet. It supposedly lets you map whatever keys you want. After you install it you have to open up the games folder through programs and click on the "switch to M$ IME" button. After you are done playing the emulator, I think you are supposed to uncheck the box and then close the program. Let me know how it works out!

can anyone post some snes roms on here... i have looked in google and found roms that are not licenced to be downloaded... stumped for other places that ive been linked to by google. any help or roms b appreciated yall...
