[3-9-09] KK's Loaded ROM v1.8 Sprint and Others [OS 5.2.21015 Build 21015]

k guys, Im having a bunch of problems instaling this one. First off, after I flash I get stuck on the (tap the screen set up screen). I have to soft reset, and then it goes through the screen tap set up thing fine. Then it starts loading all the cabs in the ROM and freezes like 1/5th of the way through on a live search cab file. I tried reflashing, and the same thing happened. Any suggestions? oh, and I can't hard reset....I tried the volume down + center button + soft reset key AND the volume down + center key + power button when the phone is off way, and neither have worked for me yet.

nvm, the load just takes a while, but the hard reset is still not working

nvm, the load just takes a while, but the hard reset is still not working

glad you got it to boot and it does work you have to hold the power, vol down, center button, and hold the soft reset..... so all buttons must be pressed for about 2-3 seconds.... let me know how that works for you.

hahahh rest the stylus in the hole standing up on your leg and than press and hold the buttons you need while moving your leg/knew up and you will get it

So with the Telus radio and some of TaylorWckediden's battery tweaks, does anyone know if the battery life is good? Stock battery life sucks and I'm running the MightyRom 4.10 with Sprints 1.11 radio and battery life is good, but I'm lovin these apps.

on the compact qwerty on screen keyboard you will see a t9 toggle and make sure that is the opposite of what it comes stock and that will get rid of it for you.

man i must have left my wits back in AR...thanks for that. this move to DC got me haha. overall this rom isnt that bad. the telus radio is a must if you want your phone to work for longer than 6 hours.

DASH I finally got a hard reset off!!!!! Thanks so much for the leg technique lol! It was the only way that worked for me :> now maybe my ROMS will run better!

no the phone can be on during a hard reset......and do you mean the one that chooses words that you have used in the past?

no, its when im texting or IM or typing anything, its a bar above where i input the text and its just basically like a second bar that just shows what im typing except its highlighted in green. Its really annoying and Im trying to get rid of it, but i cant figure it out.

I am using the newest 1.6, it is really stable, but it has one annoying thing to it, landscape mode is just does not work right, because it was taken from the hd.... once you get used to that fact, it is pretty nice, battery is good, and tons of apps, games and want not. The creator of the from keavank, does try to improve on the rom, almost bi-weekly, so hopefully the landscape mode problem fixed, but as of now, it is not working. The only other thing is a minor annoyance. The game pipes does not work right. Stablity however is not one of its problems, unlike my mogul, i dont have to reboot this thing for nothing. I installed it when it came out over a week and a half ago, and have not rebooted. Still stable, still running strong. I have seen people with problems with stability, but ussually that is due to them not removing the battery after instalation for at least one minute, then hard resetting. So if you want it to be stable, pull the battery and hard reset.

can someone direct me to where I can find the Touchflo3d theme thats being used with this ROM along with the dialer skin. Dialer skin is real nice and the colors are real vivid. Im running MightyRom, but the defalt skin for Mighty is real bland. Thanks

thats the stock sprint rom with a different wallpaper...... and why dont you use one of the many custom touchflo 3d skins we have here in the theme area.

I have already commented on this ROM...well at least 1.4. I am now running 1.8 and this ROM still kicks A**! For the amount of apps and games this thing has, it moves pretty well. i think I've noticed a bit of a slow down from 1.4 to 1.8, but not much. The ROM does load slow after soft reset (compared to other customs), but no need to soft reset very often. The battery life I thought was a little less than average and so I've been playing around w the Poll Interval, and for me, it seems like having it set at 2250 works best. It comes set at 2500, but I'm getting a couple of more solid hours of heavy use having it set at 2250. Oh yeah, and I don't find much use for the action screen myself cause I was used to having everything that I use often mapped to hardware buttons, but I can't say I wouldn't recommend it. Anyway, I still endorse this ROM, and at the very least you get to play around with a bunch of different apps. And I can say that this ROM has addicted me to Pocket UNO and Scrobble.... yupper got it bookmarked and will update once i get out of work..... thanks fgor the heads up just been busy lately and have a couple roms that need to be updated..... did you flash to this rom? if so how are you liking it so far and what are the pros and cons that you have found?
