I build my own home PC's (sometimes out of necessity because store bought one is having......issues) and I was just wondering at what speed your PC or Mobile device is getting a connection rate of. The site I use most often is:

From there they don't just rate your connection speed (both upload and download) but also give you a link that you can simply cut and paste here on Wckediden to show your results. Here is my most recent results from just a few minutes ago on my PC.

To bad for me that my only source of internet is my phone...

Maybe one day I'll get my wireless card i want and have a half mile radius around me like I want.

Can anyone tell me why my test goes to a server in Dallas when I am in Houston? That would make a difference in my speed, right?

idk why...but you can change to a server closer to you

Its part of my package so phone is included. Together they are 70 a month. I'd guess that it breaks down to 55 for the net. I use that upload for "good" reasons.

yeah i just got this pro yesterday.... brand new replacement from my original... just threw the energy rom on it, but i havent done much tweaking... hopefully ill work on that l8a today and get her up to par! Ill be back w/ some better results... im determined now...lol!

This on my dual booted pc, this would be my 2nd partition not my main, not to mention I have tons running in the background right now I was uploading vids when I did this, lol... This was on my Windows 7 which I haven't tweaked yet either so will update later when I adjust some things.
