[Theme] TF7X-by-PROBEX

THIS IS THE VGA THEME FOR THE TOUCH PRO NOT THE WVGA THEME FOR THE PRO2



and here's the white version


Well here is my latest and greatest TF3D theme fully CFC compressed speedy as hell after 1st load. Its my take on a windows 7 mobile theme took me almost a month to skin everything. This theme is using showaco's bbtheme layout as a base but it has been tweaked and re-skined by me. Its running 14 tabs with the HD people tab/Music tab/and Albums tab. also full TF [12aon] landscape. Included in the .zip is a CDMA dialer [conflippers S2A] fully skinned to match, as well as a modified version of [Towens] start menu cab with start/wait/and ev icons reskined by me to match. Its a full on transformation. These files totally overwrite your existing TF3D configuration so if your in love with your set up of TF don't apply this theme-but it is uninstallable after uninstall it will revert back to your previous setup



Install Instructions



EDIT: DO THIS STEP ONLY IF YOU ARE RUNNING A STOCK SPRINT ROM.

unzip the .zip file SPRINT Flip clock fix

move the manila files from inside the folder to your device [excluding the folder called back up... this is a backup of the stock sprint files for you to revert back to later if you want to change back to stock]

unload TF3D from your today screen settings start/settings/today/items/ uncheck Touchflow3D

From your device using totalcomander or whatever. move the manila files to your windows folder and overwrite when prompted.

reset your device and restart TF3D

see if its working with the new clock [it should be] test everything landscape ect....

if all is well load my theme.cab

reset.... and your good to go. .

EVERYONE ELSE JUST DO THESE STEPS

1.Disable TF3d from today settings [VERY IMPORTANT]
2.Install TF7X-by-PROBEX.cab
install takes a long time like 6 min or so...
reset when prompted.
3.[CDMA-only-dial-skin] Install S2A-TF3d.cab
reset when prompted
4.Install PROBEX-blue-VGA.cab
reset.

Now you should be totally redesigned

The wallpapers were installed to your "my documents" folder goto settings tab wallpaper aim "my documents" and choose the one you want..Some roms don't take the first time choose use default then re enter settings tab/wallpaper/mydocuments and select one of the 3 I included.



Recomended Alternate mods: to change the green menu highlights to grey

Below registry changes will allow you to change the highlight color in the start menu and other windows from green to grey. Assumes you are running the HTC Black theme.

HKCU/software/microsoft/today/HTC Black.tsk
change "Color_Highlight" value to 77 77 77 00

HKLM/software/microsoft/color
change "33" and "34" values to 77 77 77 00
change "BaseHue" value to 160

HKLM/Software/HTC/EnlargeMenu/
ManilaCustomHLUp and ManilaCustomHLDown, change both to 00ababab hex value, that should change enlarge start menu to grey

MENU COLOR MOD ABOVE NOW AVAILABLE VIA CAB INSTALL BELOW

Uninstall Instructions

SK tools or installed programs- uninstall all PROBEX cabs & softreset

UPDATE: loaded up the TL skin and the S2U2 skin for this theme.


S2U2 install instructions Load cab to your phone it assumes you have S2U2 installed in program files S2U2 after you install goto your s2u2 settings and choose clockD. I skinned the lock thingy as well this is ready for the latest version of S2U2.

Tlock install instructions unzip on your computer or ppc and move the files to your TL install directory. overwrite when prompted.

FINAL-UPDATE: Here is a new version TF7X-White [recommended] with all white fonts on all tabs as well the dial skin now has white fonts in contacts ect.. and 1 new wallpaper & the bellUI.tsk and the [recommended] godson font cab to go along with it.

If you already have installed TF7X and want the new version then just disable TF3D uninstall the TF7X and TF7X dialer then install the new version of the TF7X-white theme and dialer then reinstall the VGA blue cab after installing those

I believe he got that from taylors tweaks and cabs yea thats for white fonts as you can c if you want blk fonts go to this link :

hklm/software/microsoft/shell/, add new key " icon configuration" in there and add dword value:

HorizontalIconSpacing dec value 112
VerticalIconSpacing dec value 115
IconTitleFontSize dec value 6



thats the tweak, you need resco file explorer. if you dont know how to change registry i suggest you read about it.

yuppers thata the cab but i used black and not white and your correct they can be found all cabbed up in taylorWckedidens tweaks thread.

I am using Firefox an have no problem opening up these files. Check your Anti Virus make sure is not blocking you from opening things.

Someone help me please, I been trying to get this theme to work for a while now and it now working. I tired to follow the instructioin given but not working for me.

The instructions say to unzip file sprint flip clock fix. Well when i unzip it its only 1 file, is it suppose to be only 1 files? And i don't know what the totalcomander is or where it is location. So what i tired to do is copy and pastte that one file that i unzip to the windows folder but i don't even know which folder there to paste it in. So i have been able to get past that part.

So then i tired to just install the 3 cab files and when i do that i get nothing the only thing i get is the title bars change not the actually theme and no background image.

I dunno if the files i download or incorrect or what. But if someone could help me out please because i really want this theme thanks.

Are you disabling TF3d when you are putting on the theme. And when you copy the files make sure you are overwritting the files if you arent then there will be no change. Make sure you soft reset after download everything so it can take effect

Well that prolly the problem because when i download the sprint clock fix and i unzip from my computer then put it on my storage card its only one file is that right?and when exactly do i put it in the windows folder? I have gotten to any part where it said to overright anything.

you paste it in the root (loose) in the windows folder....... than if your using total commander or resco file explorer it will ask you to overwrite the file since it is a rom file of higher importance... click yes and than your done.... also i do offer a mod service where i will flash to a custom rom for you as well as add all the apps and seet it up all fully functional and ready to go... send me a pm if you are interesdted.

well as we told you it wont allow you!! once again you have to use total commander or resco file explorer since they will allow the overwrite of rom files where the stock file explorer will not.

you have to go into your user cp and look for "groups" on the left side, then join the members software group to view that page

iant that a .cab file? if you go to properties whats the file extension of the file?

And when i do this the only thing that happens is i get a change ofth top bars the title bars nothing else. I then i turn back on touch flo and nothing. if you follow the steps and install according to the readme included inthe rar file you will be fine.... you install the 3 cabs in the order he says in there and than overwrite the sprint flip clock file in the windows folder using resco... there is no other way to explain it......

Wow i must be downloading the wrong file than casue no of the files include a readme file, no txt files at all.

you are installing gray highlights, the s2u2 theme, and the taskbar thats why its all that is changing ...... you need to download the actual skin from the first post.

Ok you mean the very first page here cuz i don't see any other downloads? and also i just noticed something those zip files i download i can't unzip them with winzip however i can with winrar but it only give me one file maybe that why that part isn't working.

come on bro, seriously, the INSTRUCTIONS ARE THERE, it says step by step what to do. this is the one you need to download

i have read the instructions...and i had that file downloaded already however it wont let me unzip it. Thats prolly the problem i have this is wut it says when i try to unzip cannot open file: it does not appear to be a valid archive if you download this file try to download it again.. I also redownload it from your link samething..

All the zip files there i download and it wont let me unzip any of them. I use winzip and then i tryed to unzip it with winrar but when i do that i can unzip it but it give me only one file and it unknow.

as i told you above already that is the cab file inside the zip and you double click on it once you place it on your card and install to the main memory when it prompts.... seriously dude you have to listen to what we say.... the only reason we are getting touch is that you arent listening.

as i told you above already that is the cab file inside the zip and you double click on it once you place it on your card and install to the main memory when it prompts.... seriously dude you have to listen to what we say.... the only reason we are getting touch is that you arent listening.

omg i am telling you i can't do anything with those zip files i can't unzip them at all to get any cab files. cant unzip from my phone or computer the only cab file i have are the i listed above and you said that those aren't the actually skin. Wut u just told me i already did and i told you which cab files i had and u told me i have the wrong ones. those were the only one there to download and like i said many time i can't get into the zip file can unzip anything.

You seem to be confused im not getting mad at i'm thanking you for the help as i did in the last post wut i am saying is that i got other themes on my phone right now installed other ones haven't really had any issues. I just gettn angry that i can't get this to work. And I understand wut you are saying unzip this fileTF7X-by-PROBEX correct? ok now wut i am telling you is this doesn't allow me to unzip it. This is wut it says when i try to unzip it wit winzip

Cannot open file: it does not appear to be a valid archive

Try it with WINRAR bro,Did you have that running at all thats an app u deff need to unzip files .

I did try it wit winrar first the thing is with this it actually allows me to uunzip it however it just give me 1 file and it an unknow file. Like if i click on it and go to properties under file type it jsut says file..

you ahve to learn it since every file is in a zip folder before being posted......... its user error and its really not that hard... i would look on youtube for how to use winrar and there should be a video also try google.

ok well i guess i am doing somehting wrong...but like i said i have unzip many many files before i know how to do that. I have currrently have on my phones thems that i unzip. I have like 5 themes that i have installed on my phone i just dont like them as much as this one. If you can tell me what i doing wrong i downloaded the zip file. try this double click on the folder and open using winrar and than once you do that take the file inside and drag to your desktop and than drag to your storage card and double click on it. thats the way i have been doing it for two years.
